Across TCGA patient cohorts, CASP9 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,478 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CASP9-associated genes across cancer lineages are SLC25A3P3, RNA5SP507, and USH2A-AS2. Each is linked with CASP9 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CASP9-to-partner and partner-to-CASP9 results are reported.
