Across TCGA patient cohorts, CASP5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,532 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CASP5-associated genes across cancer lineages are VAPA, MYL12A, and CEP76. Each is linked with CASP5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CASP5-to-partner and partner-to-CASP5 results are reported.
