Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CASP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CASP3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher CASP3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CASP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where CASP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
