Across TCGA patient cohorts, CARMIL1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,280 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CARMIL1-associated genes across cancer lineages are GMDS, IFFO1, and KCTD17. Each is linked with CARMIL1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CARMIL1-to-partner and partner-to-CARMIL1 results are reported.
