Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAPZB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CAPZB data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher CAPZB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAPZB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
STAD, SKCM, and HNSC are the cancer types where CAPZB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
