Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAPS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CAPS data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher CAPS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAPS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THCA, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where CAPS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
