Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAPN5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CAPN5 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CAPN5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAPN5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, COAD, and SARC are the cancer types where CAPN5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
