Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAPN10-DT RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CAPN10-DT’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where CAPN10-DT RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CAPN10-DT is over-expressed in tumor.

COAD, BLCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where CAPN10-DT tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
