Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CANT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CANT1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher CANT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CANT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
LIHC, BLCA, and LGG are the cancer types where CANT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
