Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAMTA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CAMTA1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher CAMTA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAMTA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA and SKCM are the cancer types where CAMTA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
