CACNG8

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, CACNG8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 140 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CACNG8-associated genes across cancer lineages are MTCYBP20, ADAM2, and CXorf66. Each is linked with CACNG8 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CACNG8-to-partner and partner-to-CACNG8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MTCYBP20 grouped by CACNG8-low versus CACNG8-high in COAD.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (CACNG8→partner) and Y-score (partner→CACNG8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
