Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CACNG3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CACNG3 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher CACNG3 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CACNG3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and BLCA show a favorable association.
OV, BLCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where CACNG3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
