Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CACNG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CACNG2 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher CACNG2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CACNG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
PAAD, LAML, and CHOL are the cancer types where CACNG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
