Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CACNB3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CACNB3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CACNB3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CACNB3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.
HNSC, CHOL, and UCEC are the cancer types where CACNB3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
