Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CABYR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CABYR data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CABYR Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CABYR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, HNSC, and LUSC are the cancer types where CABYR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
