Across TCGA patient cohorts, CA9 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 12,497 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CA9-associated proteins across cancer lineages are PLOD2, ERO1A, and HK2. Each is linked with CA9 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CA9-to-partner and partner-to-CA9 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, CA9 versus PLOD2 in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of 0.60.
