The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher C9orf16 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C9orf16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where C9orf16 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
