Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C8orf87 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated C8orf87 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher C8orf87 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C8orf87 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and UCS show a favorable association.

THCA, STAD, and ACC are the cancer types where C8orf87 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
