C8A

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, C8A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,385 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible C8A-associated genes across cancer lineages are SERPINE1, CD93, and GFPT2. Each is linked with C8A in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both C8A-to-partner and partner-to-C8A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, C8A versus SERPINE1 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.40.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (C8A→partner) and Y-score (partner→C8A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
