Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C7orf50 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C7orf50 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher C7orf50 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C7orf50 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.

HNSC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where C7orf50 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
