Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C7orf25 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C7orf25 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher C7orf25 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C7orf25 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, SARC, and LIHC are the cancer types where C7orf25 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
