Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C6orf136 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated C6orf136 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher C6orf136 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C6orf136 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and KIRP show a favorable association.
BRCA, BLCA, and KIRP are the cancer types where C6orf136 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
