Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C5orf63 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated C5orf63 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher C5orf63 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C5orf63 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and KIRP show a favorable association.

MESO, KICH, and OV are the cancer types where C5orf63 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
