Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C4orf17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C4orf17 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher C4orf17 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C4orf17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

UCEC and SARC are the cancer types where C4orf17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
