Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C2orf83 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C2orf83 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher C2orf83 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C2orf83 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, BRCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where C2orf83 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
