Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C2orf74 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C2orf74 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher C2orf74 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C2orf74 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC and TGCT are the cancer types where C2orf74 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
