Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C22orf39 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C22orf39 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher C22orf39 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C22orf39 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where C22orf39 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
