Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C22orf31 RNA is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C22orf31 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher C22orf31 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C22orf31 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SCLC are the cancer types where C22orf31 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
