Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C22orf23 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C22orf23 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher C22orf23 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C22orf23 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA are the cancer types where C22orf23 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
