Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C21orf91 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C21orf91 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher C21orf91 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C21orf91 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM and UCEC are the cancer types where C21orf91 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
