The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher C21orf91 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C21orf91 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
LSCC and GBM are the cancer types where C21orf91 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
