The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher C1orf68 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C1orf68 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and CESC show a favorable association.
ESCA, THYM, and KIRP are the cancer types where C1orf68 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
