Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C1orf35 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C1orf35 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher C1orf35 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C1orf35 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where C1orf35 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
