Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C15orf40 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C15orf40 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher C15orf40 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C15orf40 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM, STAD, and ACC are the cancer types where C15orf40 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
