Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C12orf71 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated C12orf71 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher C12orf71 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C12orf71 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCS show a favorable association.

ACC, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where C12orf71 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
