Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C12orf54 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C12orf54 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher C12orf54 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C12orf54 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, GBM, and SARC are the cancer types where C12orf54 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
