Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C11orf21 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C11orf21 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher C11orf21 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C11orf21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and UCEC show a favorable association.
LSCC, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where C11orf21 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
