Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BUB1B-PAK6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BUB1B-PAK6 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BUB1B-PAK6 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BUB1B-PAK6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUSC show a favorable association.

HNSC, COAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where BUB1B-PAK6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
