Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTN2A3P RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BTN2A3P data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher BTN2A3P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BTN2A3P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, READ, and LGG are the cancer types where BTN2A3P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
