Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTF3P10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of BTF3P10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where BTF3P10 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types BTF3P10 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, LUAD, and STAD are the cancer types where BTF3P10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
