Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTBD9-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BTBD9-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BTBD9-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BTBD9-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, KIRC, and ACC are the cancer types where BTBD9-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
