Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTBD17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BTBD17 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BTBD17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BTBD17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, SKCM, and LGG are the cancer types where BTBD17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
