Across TCGA patient cohorts, BST2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,082 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BST2-associated genes across cancer lineages are IFI44, MX1, and CCDC194. Each is linked with BST2 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BST2-to-partner and partner-to-BST2 results are reported.
