Across TCGA cell cohorts, BSG RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,046 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BSG-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Multi-pass transmembrane protein insertion into ER membrane, Energy coupled proton transmembrane transport, against electrochemical gradient, and Electron transport coupled proton transport. Each is linked with BSG in more than 11 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BSG-to-partner and partner-to-BSG results are reported.
