Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BROX Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BROX data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher BROX Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BROX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where BROX Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
