Across TCGA patient cohorts, BRD9 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,069 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BRD9-associated genes across cancer lineages are YPEL1, ICE1, and GJB2. Each is linked with BRD9 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BRD9-to-partner and partner-to-BRD9 results are reported.
