Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BPIFA3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BPIFA3 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BPIFA3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BPIFA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where BPIFA3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
