Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BPGM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BPGM data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher BPGM Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BPGM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where BPGM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
