Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BNIP3P37 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BNIP3P37 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher BNIP3P37 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BNIP3P37 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and ESCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, SKCM, and LGG are the cancer types where BNIP3P37 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
