Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BLOC1S5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BLOC1S5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher BLOC1S5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BLOC1S5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and ACC are the cancer types where BLOC1S5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
